Today, humanitarians are taking their annual time out to commiserate about the appalling state of the 12 million refugees now mired in limbo and abject poverty in refugee camps all over the world.
But, on this issue, a picture is worth a thousand words – even for an impudent and irrepressible wordsmith like me. Besides, I suspect the plight of these refugees is all too familiar to most of you – if only because their tragic stories are told like preemptive pricks at your conscience every time you turn on your TV:

He argues, “For God’s sake please stop the aid”.
His argument is certainly worth considering, but of course Bono knows best these days.
