Frankly, the idiom “monkey see, monkey do” seems a fitting sub-heading for the alleged misdeeds of all the idiots involved here:
A New York doctor [Harold Bornstein] who served as President Donald Trump’s personal physician is alleging that Trump’s lawyer, bodyguard and an unidentified ‘large man’ raided his office for medical records.
Bornstein said ‘the raid’ [in February 2017] made him feel ‘raped, frightened and sad.’

I dare any lawyer to show how the facts in this case are different in any material respect from those that landed OJ Simpson and his co-conspirators in legal jeopardy. No doubt you recall OJ pleading that he felt he had a right to take back his own stuff (football memorabilia). That was his flawed justification for raiding and robbing his old acquaintance in a hotel room in Las Vegas.
I suspect Trump felt the same way. More to the point, though, no man is above the law and every member of a conspiracy is equally guilty. Therefore, it does not matter if Trump was sitting in the Oval Office at the White House when this caper was going down.
Dr. Bornstein said, ‘How would you feel if you cared for someone for 35 year and he came and robbed your office.’

Meanwhile, Michael “the fixer” Cohen seems a bit slow. So he might not have gotten the hint that the hit piece featured on the cover of this week’s National Enquirer telegraphs Trump’s intent to flip on him … before he flips on Trump.
But reports on this Bornstein raid should make clear Trump’s intent even to him.
