President Donald Trump on Thursday suggested exploring disinfectants as a possible treatment for coronavirus infections — an extremely dangerous proposition that medical experts warn could kill people.
After a Homeland Security official [William N. Bryan] mentioned the ability of disinfectants like bleach to kill the coronavirus on surfaces, Trump remarked on the effectiveness.
‘This notion of injecting or ingesting any type of cleansing product into the body is irresponsible, and it’s dangerous,’ said Dr. Vin Gupta, a pulmonologist and global health policy expert.

Of course, in typical Trumpian fashion, the rent-a-doc he featured for this trumped-up briefing is not a doctor. It’s irresponsible enough that Bryan does not have any kind of medical degree. But this dupe does not even have a PhD.
Truth be told, though, I am loath to comment any further. Because it behooves us to recognize that, at some point, anything more than a SMH makes us complicit in Trump’s dangerous, pathological buffoonery.
