Trump seems fated to win
I get it. Donald Trump, the twice-impeached and four-times indicted insurrectionist, is also a well-documented serial liar and sexual predator. In stark contrast, despite Trump’s attempts to smear him with dishonesty and grift, Joe Biden is hailed for his honesty and integrity. Furthermore, he’s arguably the most successful first-term president in US history.
Yet, in a foreboding fate that defies logic, polls indicate that Trump will defeat Biden in their rerun presidential election this November. What’s more, Republican-appointed justices on the Supreme Court keep showing their intent to help Trump win in 2024, just as their predecessors helped George W. Bush win in 2000.
The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that former President Donald J. Trump should remain on Colorado’s primary ballot, rejecting a challenge to his eligibility for another term that could have upended the presidential race by taking him off ballots around the nation.

Why Trump will never set foot in the White House again?
First off, he has threatened to jail or execute too many generals. And members of the military prize “duty, honor, country” above all else.
Of course, these generals will have no fear of personal reprisals. But they will feel duty-bound to do whatever is necessary to prevent Trump from turning American democracy into a Russian-style autocracy.
After all, Trump has also infamously threatened to rule as a dictator on his first day. But everyone knows a dictator for a day is a dictator for life. More to the point, generals swear to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
That’s why they will not stand idly by and allow Trump to trample over the Constitution – or, as he vowed, tear it to shreds.
Biden should give Trump some of his own medicine
Trump has MAGA Republicans hailing Vladimir Putin as the paragon of presidents. So Biden should do to Trump what Putin did to Navalny.
And, of course, Biden could claim the “absolute immunity” Trump himself insists all presidents must have to serve effectively.
Biden is right that Trump is a loser who will never accept a loss gracefully. But it is also true that, if Trump makes it to the White House again, he will never leave – alive.
