The arrest of female teachers is becoming a trend. That’s because those teachers are offering sex to students as after-school tutoring. And no student in their right mind can refuse.
Besides, it’s better to have teachers f*cking students than students fighting teachers.
Teacher Sandra Beth Geisel having sex with her students
English teacher Sandra Beth Geisel joined this rouges’ gallery on Tuesday. She teaches at the all-boys Christian Brothers Academy in Colonie, New York. Police arrested her for allegedly raping a 16-year-old student. A grand jury will indict her for “contributing to the delinquency of a minor.”
In addition to the sex (er, rape), she faces charges for plying minors with alcohol as part of her M.O. of seduction.
The Catholic Bishops who run this academy are outraged. But they are directing their moral wrath at the media, not the teacher. They are only outraged because the media outed her before they could transfer her. They planned to land her at another academy, where she could continue preying on young boys.
Of course, they have a well-honed practice of transferring pedophile priests. It never mattered to them that doing so gave those priests a chance to continue preying on young boys.
Many of these cases feature female teachers in their 20s. That makes their hookups with teenage boys seem less predatory. Except that Geisel isn’t some misguided twenty-something stuck in a high-school mindset. She’s a scheming, forty-something married mother of four.
Moreover, two of her children are boys the same age as those she seduced. Imagine the schoolyard teasing she’s subjected them to.
But Geisel knew what she was doing. And her pet students would no doubt attest to this. Their only question might be:
- How could something that feels so right be so wrong?
Teacher defends having sex with students
Don’t get me started on her dog-ate-my-homework” defense. After all, she claims that she only targeted one student. But his friends found out about her tutoring him and threatened to report them if she didn’t tutor them too.
And so, poor Geisel fell prey to blackmail. That amounted to having regular tutoring sessions with ten schoolboys. And some of those sessions were in a ménage-a-trois to save time. She was a working mother of four, after all.
What’s the harm in a teacher-student relationship?
No doubt, teachers having sex with students evokes moral outrage. But what’s the actual harm? After all, these are usually hot teachers giving a few lucky teenage boys some of the best educational experiences of their lives.
Common sense warrants making distinctions. It’s one thing for a 40-year-old woman to treat teenage boys to life-affirming sexual romps. It’s another for a 40-year-old man to sexually abuse adolescent boys.
Let’s consider how to deal with these cases
Also, as a legal matter, the age of consent should reflect prevailing sexual mores. So I recommend putting this “crime” into context as follows:
A teacher (male or female) having consensual sex with any student aged 16 or older should be fired. They should also be banned from teaching for life. But that teacher should not be arrested and prosecuted. However, that teacher having sex with a student aged 15 or younger should be fired. They should also be arrested and prosecuted.
Geisel is a lousy teacher; she might be a worse mother. But none of that should make her a convicted felon. Never mind one facing 16 years in the pokey (no pun intended) for this essentially victimless crime.
Yes, a few 16-year-old boys could be psychologically harmed. But most would enjoy having their sexual fantasies fulfilled by their school teachers.
Anyone who insists otherwise was never a 16-year-old boy. Or they are talking puritanical rubbish! After all, with obliging teachers, no lesson could prove more educational, wholesome, and, ultimately, useful for teenage boys.
