So Taylor Swift is risking fame and fortune to champion democratic values and stand on the right side of history. But Patrick Mahomes doesn’t have the balls or public consciousness to do the same.
Any self-respecting Black man in his position would take pride in doing all he can to stop Trump and his MAGA confederates from dragging Black civil rights and women’s reproductive rights back to the 1950s. Because let’s face it, if you’re not using your platform to help America stop Trump, you’re giving your fans the impression that you’re cool with him returning as president.
Evidently, Patrick didn’t learn from MJ’s infamous “Republicans buy sneakers too” mistake. Mind you, more than fearing a MAGA backlash if he endorses Harris, Patrick should fear a Democratic backlash if he doesn’t. It’s a damn shame he’s selling out just to cash in.
