A jury has finally been empanelled to hear evidence of child molestation against Michael Jackson. Some have noted that there are no blacks on the jury. Therefore, this case will be heard by a white judge, tried by white prosecutors, defended by white lawyers … and covered by white media.
Perhaps Michael knew long ago that this day would come, and therefore bleached his skin and straightened his hair to avoid conviction on account of his race.

Perhaps not specifically to the topic at hand, but I must continue to ask the question, “Where were the parents?”. Whether or not MJ is guilty of the charges against him, there is a notion of “harms way”. When was the last time a well functioning parent placed their minor child in the care of an adult male for sleepovers who was not a part of the family? Is there any notion of parental responsibility or am I just ignorant of the facts of the case. Whatever the case, I am willing to bet that if the defendant were not famous and somewhat tragic, this would also be a case (charge) of child endangerment against the parent. It is not as if this same defendant has never been under suspicion for similar alleged acts. Perhaps we are all too comfortable pointing the finger rather than addressing the perverbial elephant in the room……..Outraged in NJ
