Loomer looming large in MAGA world

Laura Loomer is gaining infamy as the White nationalist conspiracy nut who suddenly has Trump’s ear. MAGA darling Marjorie Taylor Greene became infamous for blaming a secret Jewish space laser for California wildfires. Yet even she is complaining that Loomer is filling Trump’s head with wacko claims, like Haitian migrants scavenging Ohio and eating cats and dogs.

But Loomer is now Trump’s brain in the same way Karl Rove was Bush’s.

Loomer, the Melania surrogate?

Of course, Trump parroting Loomer’s nutty claims during a presidential debate says far more about him and his MAGA followers than it does about her. Still, her association with him and the far-right speaks volumes about her.

In short, it shows Loomer is a self-hating Jew whose self-esteem perversely hinges on saying racist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, and even antisemitic things that no neo-Nazi would dare say. She thinks Trump and his MAGA followers hail her as their fearless spinmeister. But they’re really cheering her on as their dystopian mascot.

The evangelicals who form the MAGA base should recognize Loomer as a wannabe Jezebel. Because she’s hell-bent on reveling in the attention, power, and influence she gains by stroking Trump, in every way. And he’s especially susceptible to her manipulation, given reports that Melania stopped stroking him, in any way, the minute she sealed a renegotiated prenup. She did this as a precondition for standing by her man in 2016, after that infamous Access Hollywood tape).
