Kevin Spacey faced nearly as many MeToo accusations from men as Bill Cosby did from women. This is why he probably thought that, unlike Cosby, he had gotten off scot-free when the only criminal case against him fell apart.
Prosecutors in Connecticut filed felony assault charges against him in 2019 for allegedly getting an 18 year-old boy drunk, and then groping him. But they dropped the case, citing the accuser’s sudden refusal to testify against Spacey.
The boy’s lawyer claims the case had sent him on an “emotional rollercoaster,” which rendered him incapable of participating in the trial. But I suspect Spacey took a page out of his House of Cards script to deal with him and his family. And that was all she wrote.
Except that the sequel to his MeToo accusations premiered yesterday … in spades.
Five charges are being brought against the 62-year-old after a review of Met Police evidence following complaints dating between 2005 and 2013. …
The first two charges relate to alleged sexual assaults on a man, now in his 40s, in London in March 2005, while a second alleged victim, a man now in his 30s, is claimed to have been assaulted in London in August 2008.
The serious sexual offence charge – causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent – also relates to the second alleged victim.

Of course, as it is here in America, all defendants in England are presumed innocent… What’s more, we don’t even know all the salacious details each man is alleging.
Even so, I doubt there’s anything in Francis Underwood’s book of dirty tricks that will help Spacey get off scot-free this time. His goose is cooked!
But who knew House of Cards fairly described his personal life too… And, curiously enough, like Jeffrey Epstein, he’s a FOB (Friend of Bill Clinton) too…
Birds of a (predatory) feather…? “You might think that. I couldn’t possibly comment.”
