Female teachers having sex with students has become rampant. This week, several of them entered this rogues’ gallery.
Female teachers having sex with students
To be fair, these sex crimes are, on balance, victimless. And female teachers as sexual predators are, on balance, harmless. In fact, the only wonder for me is why 99.9 percent of these predatory female teachers are White.
The police arrested one on Monday. She is 29 and faces criminal charges for having sex with a 17-year-old student. Reports are that she even aborted his child.
Jennifer Christine Fichter, an English teacher at Central Florida Aerospace Academy, told the boy’s mother that she was in love with her son and admitted to several sexual encounters, police said.

High schools are fertile hunting grounds. And social media make it all too easy for “cougars” posing as a teacher to catch their prey.
More than 100 city teachers, administrators and other school staffers have been caught in the last five years engaging in sexual or ‘inappropriate’ relationships with students, The Post has learned…

Moreover, some teachers are blurring these lines in unsettling ways. They are preying on kids in ways that smacks more of child sex abuse than cougar-like hookups. But such cases are more the exception than the rule.
Some parents complain of student-teacher hookups causing their boys to suffer “trauma.” This, even while their boys are thinking it was the best education of their lives.
Is it okay to have crush on your female teacher?
I appreciate all the legal, social, educational, and psychological ramifications involved. I addressed them years ago in “Female Teacher Blowing More than Schoolboy’s Mind.”
Of course no teacher should be hooking up with any student in her class. The temptation to show favoritism would be too great. But, thanks to social media, they can flirt with any student in the whole school.
What’s more, schools should fire any teacher who has sex with a student. My point is that this is no cause for arrest.
After all, teenagers can suffer far more trauma from playing violent video games. Not to mention the trauma photo-shopped images that distort reality cause. This, especially given that those images are often sexual in nature.
Most people say girls are more prone to emotional damage than boys. So this would make girls far more vulnerable in teacher-student relationships. But that strikes me as chauvinistic. Girls mature faster than boys, don’t they?
Update
A former teacher who engaged in sexual relationships with three of her students – and even got pregnant by one – has been jailed for 22 years despite tearfully pleading for forgiveness in court.
Jennifer Fichter, 30, who taught English at a school in Lakeland, Florida, admitted to 37 counts of unlawful sexual contact with a minor in April in relation to three of her 17-year-old male students.
