Cohen for the prosecution
Michael Cohen is a meathead. He’s so blinded by revenge that he broke his own vow of silence on Trump in less than 48 hours.
Worse still, like Trump, Cohen is such a reckless narcissist, he couldn’t care less he’s undermining the prosecutor’s case. So, I fully expect him to lose his cool on the stand this week and blow up the case.
By all accounts, Stormy Daniels did better on cross-examination by Trump’s defense lawyer than she did on direct examination by the prosecutor. I expect the opposite will be the case with Cohen. He will do as well on direct as Stormy did on cross.
Hung jury
Prosecutors will prove Trump’s guilt beyond any reasonable doubt. But, thanks to Trump, America is so polarized that his jury is bound to have at least one MAGA supporter. And that juror will hold out for acquittal — the evidence of his guilt be dammed.
Simply put, the quest for MAGA infamy is such that a hung jury verdict seems unavoidable.
