so after invading another Country he wins with less than 50% of the vote (less than 40% indeed!) and still has a commanding majority – would this happen in the USA or be counted as a democracy ?

hey, it’s democracy in action! the people had all of the information they needed to make and informed decision. they chose blair! and yes, it could (has) happened in the usa. bush is still president, isn’t he?
