Retribution is mine, says the president

Donald Trump is on an imperial rampage. The American people gave him a get-out-of-jail-free card when they elected him president. But, above all, Trump ran on a promise of retribution. So promises made, promises being kept.

His administration is compiling a hit list of career FBI agents — especially those tied to Special Prosecutor Jack Smith’s investigations into his crimes. Of course, Trump can’t legally purge them without cause. But he doesn’t have to. He knows the mere threat of financial ruin is often enough to make people fold.

Where’s the Democratic Elon Musk

Over two months ago, I called on anti-Musk billionaires to bankroll a legal defense fund for Trump’s targets. I had in mind the likes of Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, George Soros, and MacKenzie Scott (Bezos). I’m still waiting.

Nothing would check Trump’s retribution more than knowing he can’t bankrupt public servants into submission. Yet, here we are — watching him terrorize public servants while those who could stop him sit on their wallets (or clutch their purses).

The DEI Purge, damn the consequences

Of course, Trump gutted the aviation safety committee as part of his DEI purge of the federal government. Less than two weeks later, the US suffered its first major aviation disaster in 15 years – a midair collision over DC. And just last night, another fiery crash hit homes outside Philadelphia.

Now, he’s gutting the FBI leadership. So don’t be surprised if the US suffers its first major terrorist attack in years, either. And don’t be surprised when Trump blames it on Obama and Biden’s DEI policies — just like he blamed them for aviation disaster.

To be sure, the American people voted for Trump to lower inflation and deport illegal migrants. But they also voted to make America White again by stacking the government with DEI (“Didn’t Earn It”) White, Entitled Incompetents (WEI). And, more ominously, they willfully voted for him to exact retribution on his political enemies.

So he’s simply executing the mandate they handed him. God help us all.
