Where is our great military today? Where is our president today? Why aren’t we providing the basic necessities that so many of us take for granted to the poor (mostly black) people baking in the hot Louisiana sun today?
Nobody expected this kind of devastation, granted, but if we can get over to Iraq in 14 hours, it seems, that by now, our government should have mobilized and started showing a more organized show of force in providing structured care and support to those most in need.
