NOW, this is what a rapist looks like also…
Anyone who laments the growing backlash against feminism in America can take comfort in the forward march towards gender equality in Norway. But liberated women of the world beware: Last week a trial in this progressive Scandinavian country established a legal precedent that looms as a harbinger of things to come for women who feel as empowered as their male counterparts by predatory sexual exploits. A woman was convicted of raping a man and the Norwegian court sentenced her to nine months in prison and fined her over $6000.
How was this possible? Well, the male “victim” claims that when he lapsed into a drunken stupor at a party, the woman assaulted him by giving him an unsolicited blowjob. He testified that when he finally became aroused to what was happening, he was too stiff with shock to defend himself….
But here’s an apparent contradiction: Norwegian rape shield laws prevent the identity of the male victim from being disclosed. Fair enough. But surely only lingering male (or evolving female) chauvinism can explain why the identity of the female rapist is being shielded as well. No?
Now, is this a legitimate charge that should establish a precedent or just a frivolous claim that should remain as anomalous as charging a man for biting a dog?

Forgive my ignorance; but may I ask: how did he remain “stiff” throughout his ordeal?
