But, notwithstanding all the hype about this being “make or break Tuesday, Do or Die day, or Hillary’s last stand,” here’s all you need to know – about the Democratic race:
As things stand, according to the Associated Press, Barack Obama has 1,187 of the 2,025 delegates he needs to clinch the nomination. Hillary has 1,035. And today 370 are up for grabs.
If Hillary wins Ohio and Texas – the race goes on….
If Hillary wins Texas or Ohio and Vermont or RI (or both) – the race goes on…
If Hillary loses Ohio and Texas…she will concede the nomination to Obama.
However, because of the way delegates are apportioned, even if Hillary were to win all four primaries, Barack would still maintain his overall lead.
At any rate, since I gather that many of you would like to know my predictions, here they are:
Hillary will win Ohio, Texas, and RI, and Obama will win Vermont. Therefore, the race will go on…to Pennsylvania (on April 22).
Still, Obama will win the nomination, and he will be elected the next president of the United States!
NOTE: John McCain has had the Republican nomination virtually all wrapped up for some time now. But today he will finally get enough delegates to swat Mike Huckabee off the political stage.

Scary Huh? She pulled herself out of the depths of political turmoil. Two weeks ago this thing was all but rapped up.
Obama’s right, she pulled every dirty trick in the book including the kitchen sink,
I’ve been reading MSNBC’s daily blog, “Firstlook” and the reader responses are really getting venomous. This thing is splitting Democrats right down the middle with Clinton supporters threatening to vote for McCain instead of Obama, assuming he is victorious.
Listening to the Repub’s they’re falling over themselves in the hope that Hillary is the candidate.
I’m starting to get bummed out with the process. I think a lot of other folk are starting to feel that way too.
On a lighter note: Today the mercury is going up to the low 60’s in the Big Apple. Think I’ll ride my Harley to work today.

Scary only if you’ve been paying too much attention to bloviating bloggers and pundits on TV.
Because I warned my readers more than a year ago that it would be thus.
The Clintons are so full of their own self-righteousness that they believe they can foment a race war between whites and blacks and blacks and hispanics just to get the nomination, but that everyone will kiss and makeup to support their holy mission of returning to the White House.
